Tiny House
A Comic, a Love Story
HOUSE: (Next to a tree and a swingset) I wish I was smaller
HOUSE: (now the size of a cat’s water dish) As small as a shrew
BUT NOT JUST ANY SHREW
CAT: (examines a leaf under a magnifying glass, revealing House and some much larger amoebas)
HOUSE: The etruscan shrew.
The etruscan shrew and the tiny house revolution, wedded in eternity. Will you share it with me?
SHREW: Will you share it with me?
(a pair of tweezers puts a medal on the house, which reads “World’s smallest mammal-sized house)
HOUSE: I’m the world’s smallest house! It’s all thanks to my spouse!
SHREW: You’re the world’s smallest mammal-sized house, darling dear.
Shrew: (looking into house’s window with a magnifying glass) Hey what’s that in the window? It’s just as I feared! A mouse! A mouse! In a miniature house!
HOUSE: I’m no longer the world’s smallest mammal-sized house, for that very small varmint’s the size of a louse. But let us rejoice, for we’re both the same size! A shrew and a shrew-sized house!
